A terminally ill Detroit teenager had his dream of meeting Eminem come true a day before passing away.
The parents of 17-year-old Gage Garmo started a hashtag (#GetGageGarmoToMeetEminem) online to draw attention to Gage’s wish and it worked! Gage’s friends and classmates also helped to spread the hashtag online once they learned Gage only had days to live.
Eminem made it happen and paid a visit to Gage at his home Sunday evening- the evening before Gage has passed away. Apparently, the two sat in the family living room and discussed hip-hop and football. I can only imagine how happy this moment was for Gage. Well done, Slim. Well done.
