Denver Nuggets Forward, Quincy Miller, Gives Back in Denver

Quincy Miller is much more than a ball player in the NBA- he has a huge heart, too! He shows nothing but love and loyalty to his family, close friends and especially his mother. Quincy is respected and is an inspiration to so many. Like anyone else, Quincy has acquired a ton of clothes over the years. Recently he decided that the best thing to do with bags and bags of old, extra clothes would be to give them away to less fortunate. It was my pleasure to help my friend make this happen. Last Sunday morning about 5 of us met up outside the Denver Rescue Mission location at 22nd & Lawrence downtown. We set up 2 folding tables and pulled out an array of dress shirts, dress pants, t-shirts, hoodies and more. It took less than an hour to give away all the clothes. The people were more than appreciative and were so excited to meet Quincy. He shook hands and spoke to everyone as well as signed a ton of autographs. This really was such a humbling experience. Quincy plans on giving back as much as he can and doing so in the near future. He is extremely humbled and knows what it’s like to have less than what you want or need, and because of that he gives and cares with a genuine heart! I am proud to call him a friend and look forward to supporting his future charitable endeavors! RESPECT!
