Kendrick Lamar Previews Nike Cortez Kick Collaboration

Kendrick Lamar attended the jersey retirement ceremony for Kobe Bryant the other night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Backstage, K Dot revealed his first collaboration with Nike!

The Nike Cortez collaboration features a red, black and white colorway with the phrase “DON’T TRIP.” on a ribbon piece that runs on top of the laces. On the side of the sneaker is also a small bit of Chinese lettering which suits Kung Fu Kenny well as he’s a huge fan of Chinese culture.

There is allegedly another pair of kicks that are blood-red Nike Cortez with the letter “K” on one heel and “L” on the other heel, as well as ‘DAMN” on the tongue of the shoe and “TDE” on the laces emblem.

No official release date has been announced yet, but these kicks are fly and exclusive! Will you be copping a pair?
