Ladies and gentleman, meet Alexandria White. Hard to miss and hard to forget! This woman is BEAUTIFUL! She is perfect for modeling- photos or runway. Alexandria, 23, is proudly born and raised in Denver, CO. She began modeling at the young age of 14. Her first modeling gig was in Beverly Hills, CA for the Chrysalis Foundation. I think it’s safe to say she was made for this. Like anyone building a career or chasing a dream, she had hardships through out the journey. Being a woman of color in the modeling industry, she struggled with societies perception of what an African American model should look like. She once colored her beautiful, blonde curls dark brown to fit the mold. That didn’t work, the hair dye had to go! Alexandria has learned to love what God gave her. She stays inspired by standing out! Hoping to be an inspiration to other girls of color,to not focus on being what society expects. “I’m not going to starve myself or change who I am so that I am accepted by the world” she says.
