Apple users are either happy or annoyed by this. Apple has automatically gifted the latest album from the group U2 for free to all iTunes users. But some gifts aren’t always welcome. Many users have took to social media to express their disgruntled options of this marketing tactic.
People usually like free things, right? Not necessarily when the gift is forced on them unexpectedly and with no easy return policy. A TON of Apple users are not happy and complaining that the album is automatically appearing in iTunes and on their iOS devices whether they want it there or not. And there’s no quick and simple way to remove it.
What are your thoughts? Are you happy to have received the new U2 album? I think it’s a decent strategy but sneaky to force it upon Apple users with no consent.
