“The Nug Nation” is Bringing Cannabis to Life… For Real… Sort Of
Nugville, CO (April 19, 2016) — “The Nug Nation” is pleased to announce the release of its pilot episode, “Selfie Ban.” A stop motion comedy series featuring popular strains of cannabis fashioned into a community of animated characters, the potentially controversial short-form program is poised to bring cannabis entertainment to an entirely new market. In “Selfie Ban,” local Nug News at 9 anchor Bong Burgundy reports on Nugville’s recently implemented selfie stick ban. Local gas station owner Affy and his plebeian employee Diesel don’t see eye-to-eye on this controversial matter. Shenanigans ensue!

“The Nug Nation’s” co-creator Dylan Pfohl explained the series’ roots. “As non-smokers, we thought the names people give weed were clever and vivid and naturally lent themselves to characters just as imaginative,” explained Pfohl. “We had a blast coming up with each character’s backstory, quirks, and characteristics.”
