Lords of the Underground is a platinum-selling New Jersey group known for their 90s hits, “Chief Rocka” and “Funky Child”. After becoming a legend in Hip-Hop, LOTU member Dupre Kelly, best known by stagename DoItAll, transitions from music to politics as he runs for Newark, New Jersey’s City Councilman.
Looking to make changes on the homefront, Kelly credits Hip-Hop for inspiration to make a difference inside the system. Campaigning for September polls with a “Do It All” attitude, Kelly discusses his ideal of change and reason for running for office on the airwaves. Dupre does interviews with both Power 105’s The Breakfast Club and legendary Hot97.
Making use of his Hip-Hop influence, DoItAll talks 2Pac and more being the reason behind him joining the race and the legacy of Lords of the Underground. Asking all of New Jersey residences to support his cause and vote in September for DoItAll as he DoItAll for Newark.
