Coog, the emerging new artist out of Detroit, has been building up for this moment since 2014. After creating a buzz with his heavily influenced mid-2000 style and appeal throughout the D, he takes his act nationwide with the release of his personal project, titled, The Mystery Girl.
The new EP was built up with a series of latest tracks like “Night Shift,” “Dance” and “Just in Case.” In the new EP, Coog has fans take a journey through his lifestyle, the daily grind, the passion to become great and the trials and tribulations we endure with manhood. It’s catchy, well-diverse and attention-grabbing.
On the making of The Mystery Girl, Coog states, “The album itself really embodies what it means to put your heart into something and to shoot for the stars. It’s all about taking moments that at the time may not seem significant when they happen but using them as a way to paint a bigger picture at the end.”
Coog’s new effort is a four-track collection which includes buzzworthy songs “Dream Girl” and “Deja Vu.” This EP is the perfect origin point for newfound fans to discover one of the next generation’s brightest stars. The Mystery Girl is available now on all DSPs via Underground Soundz.
