Originally from Oakland, Siyah is a lyricist and hip hop artist who’s goal is to promote messages of positivity and honest storytelling through his music. ‘Weather’, in my pinion, does that. It’s an honest, well written piece with a very mellow beat that matches his lyrics perfectly. He most definitely presents an art of originality, and an element of consciousness that I feel is oftentimes missing in hip hop today. This one is very much worth a listen.
