This song is dope but I love the video for it even more. Off of A$AP Ferg’s Still Striving mixtape, ‘The Mattress’ is a fly, fun song and features A$AP Rocky.
But the video is nuts! Directed by Hidji Films, the video is energetic, colorful and visually stimulating to say the least. Both rappers appear to bounce around and throw money on all these mattresses, and of course there beautiful women with them. There’s a trippy effect with cuts and flashed throughout the video as well giving it an old school flavor- I love it!
