Layomi, also known as Layomi The Tampa Baes, returns to close out 2020 with another breakout hit from their buzzing EP in the song “Ting.” The Florida duo re-emerges following a quarantine to pick up where they left off and prove why they are “Tap In” hitmaker LunchMoney Lewis’s protege.
“Ting” is a concept based a conversation about relationships and today’s dating scene between OG Layla Johnson and Naomi Bravo. Bravo told the press, “Ting came about after a conversation on our views on men at the present time. It’s about having someone you love to kick it with, take trips with, party with etc. A Ting understands there are no strings attached. You just enjoy living life and having fun together without commitments.”
The song is apart of Layomi’s early 2020 EP, You, Me, & The 813. Directed by Razak Thirdeyeraz, the video includes production by Denim, animations by Cassandra Jolie Art and wardrobe styling from Wilford Lenov as well as Jose Rodriguez.
“Ting” is available on LunchBox Records/AWAL. Find out everything on Layomi today via social media.
