It’s no secret that Iggy Azalea took a career hit in 2015, and while her love life seems to be going strong, her business relationship with Grand Hustle mentor T.I. has gone downhill.
T.I. stopped by HOT 97 to discuss his new mixtape, the sequel to ATL, Drake and Meek Mill’s beef, and of course, Iggy Azalea.
When asked if there was a specific breaking point in their partnership, T.I. was very honest and didn’t hold back.
“Everything was cool and then they came back and undid. It’s not that I got tired of cleaning it up,” he said. “I’m a loyal partner and if I rock with you I’m going to rock with you. If we right, wrong, we’ll discuss that in the car. We going to get out of here right now, though. That’s just how I am. Right now I’m going to block the bullets, now go. Now when I say ‘Go’…go. Don’t stand around and talk while I’m blocking bullets. You slowing me down.”
And that’s, that! I can’t say I’m surprised by any of this. Iggy is set to marry Nick Young soon and hey, maybe she can join a “Basketball Wives” show after that? Who knows but it looks like her music career is coming to a hault.
