As promised, Kanye West and Nas unveil the highly-anticipated new album from the Def Jam recording artist titled, “Nasir”. Another 7-track masterpiece from the mind of Kanye West, following in suite with the releases of Kanye’s G.O.O.D. music roster of Pusha T, himself, and his joint collaboration with him and former G.O.O.D. Music recording artist Kid Cudi.
Following a listening event under Nas’ Queensbridge, New York borough. Produced entirely by Kanye West, ‘Nasir’ is the first project sole produced by one producer from the Queens legend. Not uncommon in Hip-Hop, ‘Nasir’ is Nas 11th studio album, his third under Def Jam umbrella. Nas recorded the new album with Kanye West in Wyoming, along with Pusha T, Teyana Taylor, and Kid Cudi.
‘Nasir’ is the first album release in a new distribution deal between Mass Appeal and Universal. Nas is co-founder of Mass Appeal media and records. The label also house popular Harlem recording artist Dave East. The new album follows up his only 2018 release; other than, the featured collaboration with Dave East on the Netflix Rapture soundtrack.
