Dr. Erick Pagan, known as “The Singing Dentist,” has just dropped a vibrant new music video for his remix of the original song “Devil.” This track was initially created to raise awareness about the pressing national issue of “Bio-Sludge,” a hazardous mix of human fecal waste and animal manure used as fertilizer on crops.
Following the release of the original song and its accompanying documentary-style video, the issue was successfully addressed in Pagan’s local community. However, the practice persists in other parts of the country. Determined to reach a broader audience and shed light on this ongoing environmental threat, Dr. Pagan decided to take a creative turn—this time, hitting the dance floor.
In his latest video, titled “Devil: The Chris Rosa Country Club Remix,” Pagan enlists a troupe of dancers in a high-energy performance filled with dynamic choreography, flashy lights, and a pulsating club vibe. The video creatively intersperses flashbacks from the original video, projected onto a distant wall, serving as a poignant reminder of the serious issue at the heart of the song. The combination of eye-catching visuals and infectious beats aims to capture the attention of social media users, encouraging them to pause their scrolling and engage with the message.
Dr. Pagan plans to leverage social media further by creating shareable content from the new video to spread awareness about the dangers of Bio-Sludge. With a mix of humor and determination, he remarked, “If I have to take my shirt off, swing it over my head, and dance to get people’s attention, then so be it!”
The remix, crafted by Chris Rosa, transforms the original country tune into a club anthem while retaining its roots in a unique Country House style. Through this innovative approach, Dr. Pagan hopes to continue the fight against Bio-Sludge and inspire others to join the cause.
