Funk Volume emcee, Hopsin, took to his Instagram page today to announce his good-bye to the music industry. It seems he has decided to venture on in life saying that he will always be an emcee at heart but the “rap stuff” just isn’t for him. He also said that he is moving to Australia for a new adventure. He wished his fellow label mates, Dizzy Wright, Jarren Benton and Swizzz good luck in their careers as well.
Although having a career as an artist in the music industry seems to be what dreams are made of- it is absolutely not for everyone. There are a lot of un-pretty things that come with the price of fame and money. I think it is a courageous thing Hopsin has done and I wish him nothing but the best moving on!
